Prophecy In Motion ?

One of the more distinguishing characteristics of Biblical prophecy revolves around the re-building of the Temple in Jerusalem.

Commonly referred to as the Third and final temple.

It is important to note there can be NO sacrifices without a Temple.

This is to be the Temple of the Jewish Messiah; which ironically marks the rise of the Christian Anti-Christ.

According to Judaism, their Messiah will bring World Peace.

It's location must be the Temple Mount in Jerusalem.

The information I am about to share comes from the Temple Institute - a Jewish organization NOT Christian.

My point is this, before the LORD's return, a Third and Final Temple will be built.

Here are the Scriptural references to put some of this into context. Although I have only given you the "highlights", I would strongly recommend you read the entire Chapter.

Revelation 11 : 1 - 2

Indicating the measuring of the Temple of GOD

[1] Then I was given a measuring rod like a staff, and I was told, “Rise and measure the temple of God and the altar and those who worship there,

[2] but do not measure the court outside the temple; leave that out, for it is given over to the nations, and they will trample the holy city for forty-two months.

[3] And I will grant authority to my two witnesses, and they will prophesy for 1,260 days, clothed in sackcloth.”

1260 days indicates 3 1/2 years [there are 360 days in a Hebraic year]

The Anti-Christ's "peaceful" rule is 3 1/2 years where he allows the Jewish people to rebuild there Temple.

(Revelation 11:1-3 ESV)

This is a direct reference to Daniel 9 : 27

[27] And he shall make a strong covenant with many for one week, and for half of the week he shall put an end to sacrifice and offering. And on the wing of abominations shall come one who makes desolate, until the decreed end is poured out on the desolator.”

(Daniel 9:27 ESV)

The "he" spoken of is the "prince to come" or anti-Christ [verse 26]
In Daniel one week is symbolic of one year
so half of the week is 3 1/2 years or 1260 days
