A New Year

Will it be a Year of
Or
Coincindence ?
This New Year, I want to encourage you to see and do things differently…
I want you to consider seeing this year as a year full of Divine PROVIDENCE
rather than a series of coincidences!
rather than a series of coincidences!
Let’s start by realizing this simple fact as given to us in Isaiah.
ISAIAH 55 : 8 – 9
[8] For MY thoughts are not your thoughts,
neither are your ways MY ways, declares the LORD.
[9] For as the heavens are higher than the earth,
so are MY ways higher than your ways
and MY thoughts than your thoughts.
(Isaiah 55:8-9 ESV)
Did you catch that?
I know that, like many of you, I am familiar with this verse...BUT only recently did it penetrate my heart !
IT says that HIS ways are not our ways, not by just a little bit, BUT as the
heavens are higher than the earth!!!
W H A T ? ? ?
W O W ! ! !
Parents, think about this for j u s t a second…
You know how aggravating and insulting it is when your child “thinks” he or
she knows better than Y O U !
Unfortunately, we act the same way when we second guess our CREATOR!
YIKES!
Maybe this year, we should start off by apologizing to our CREATOR for our
childish disrespect?
Maybe this year we will trust HIM more than we trust ourselves?
Here’s a Thought:
Let’s stop apologizing FOR GOD and let’s start apologizing TO GOD
…because just maybe the CREATOR knows FULL well what HE is doing!
So let me ask you…
Will this YEAR be any different?
Ponder this . . .
Who is GOD?
Is HE Containable or Unexplainable?
What is it going to be this Year?
Submission to HIS Will or Suppression of HIS Will?
May the LORD add HIS blessings to you in this coming NEW YEAR!
