Strange Sounds

A Warning to Us?

As I try to decipher and understand the times in which we live, I always find myself uncovering fascinating events embedded in today's world.


There is a curious phenomena that has sprung up in the last year or so.


There have been unexplained sounds recorded around the world - from Kiev in the Ukraine to right here in Southwest Michigan.

To be sure, as you search the internet some of the videos you come across may be cleverly devised hoaxes.


However, I believe the one's I have included here are "legit" - at least it was proven important enough to draw the media's attention.

~Where there is smoke there is often fire~

It is almost certain that many of you may even be able to give sound scientific reasoning behind such occurrences. 


Instead, I would ask that you take a moment and consider the "Spiritual" implications of these events.


For me, I can't help be drawn to Matthew 24, where JESUS is in discussion with HIS disciples regarding HIS return.


A few verses in particular stick out in my mind.


Verse 7
For nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom, and there will be famine, and pestilences, and quaking/shaking in various places.


Verse 31
"And HE will send forth HIS angels with a GREAT TRUMPET and they will gather together HIS elect from the four winds, from one end of the sky to the other.




Let me be crystal clear, I cannot say with complete certainty that what is going on has anything to do with what the Scriptures tell us.


I do know that according to Scripture "trumpets" were used to signal GOD's presence.

• What we commonly translate as "trumpets" is usually the Hebraic term SHOFAR.
• A ram's horn
• Concordance #7782

I have listed a few examples below:

• Exodus 19 : 16    Mt. Sinai
• Leviticus 25 : 9   The LORD's Appointed Times - Feasts
• Joshua 6 : 5        The Battle Of Jericho

Scripture also tells us that the Shofar was used in battle, to signal war.

Here are some examples:

• Judges 7 : 19        Gideon's 300 Chosen Men
• 1 Samuel 13 : 3    Saul & Jonathan wage war against the Philistines
• 2 Samuel 18 : 16  Absalom & Joab

Finally, Scripture tells us that the Shofar is used as a WARNING!
     ~This is the one I find of particular interest 




Here are some examples:

• Jeremiah 6 : 17     The Trumpet of the Watchmen
• Ezekiel 33 : 3-6     The Trumpet of the Watchman
• Joel 2 : 1                The Day of the LORD cometh

These are but a few brief examples.




I would encourage you to use a concordance and do a word search on your own for further study!


Here's my point, science may try to explain it away, BUT just maybe GOD is trying to get our attention for something HE is about to do or reveal.
